Delta Products and Development Corporation was founded in 1989 with the goal of supporting our national defense system with excellence. It has developed a consistently strong line of products starting with various grip assemblies for UH I helicopter and a grip assembly for the F-4 Fighter. During the 1990s and the first decade of 2000, Delta Products and Development has held several long term contracts with the US Anny and the US Navy for these grips. Delta Products and Development has not only maintained a high standard of excellence with these electrical components, it has expanded into the mechanical realm of Defense Department support by developing several electrical-mechanical components for the Abrams M-l Tank. The company has supplied push pull assemblies for the tank engine as well as a safety switch for the armor storage unit inside the tank. The company currently holds long-term contracts with both the US Army and General Dynamics Land Division for these parts.
Several years ago, Delta Products and Development Corp became ISO 9000:200 I compliant in order to better qualify itself for the Defense Supply System. Since that time, Delta Products and Development has received several long-term awards from the Rock Island Arsenal for various weapon system parts and components. The company maintains working relationships with local and national CNC machine shops who join the Delta Team in providing the highest quality parts at competitive rates for the Defense Department.
Delta Products and Development Corp is a small business co-owned by both a veteran and a woman.
